Happy New Year!!!!
It is now 2014, my year! A lot has happened since the last time I wrote a journal it was a little big before Halloween! So at the beginning of November I finished my school video and it was a huge success!!!! I have never been so stressed out in my life and I’ll admit there were times where I just wanted to give up but at the end I did it and it premiered during the bell game rally and was played in front of the whole student body…. Proudest moment in all my years at LHS, hell! Maybe even my whole life! The video got me a lot of recognition both teachers and students. Luckily I finished it the first few weeks of November because boy! What a busy month that turned out to be. November 30 was the deadlines for CSU's and my procrastination ass didn't do anything! I stayed days and days after school trying to finish ONE application since I had no idea how but it kept asking for a bunch of information and things I had no idea on. Luckily for me we have our very own college applications expert! And I knew him! Thank you lord Jesus! So I stayed after school with him and badabing badabang! I was done! So ended up applying to Cal Poly slo, Long Beach, San Jose, and Fresno as a backup. So I spent the rest of my days relaxing and watching the others rush to finish their applications and luckily for me I had no desire to apply to and UC’s but then one day my peace was disrupted by 3 letters: EOP. What’s EOP? I have no clue but all I knew was I had to work my butt of again to complete the applications. Applying for EOP was much harder than the schools themselves and the worst part was we needed letters of recommendation by teachers; teachers are far worse procrastinators than students. It took weeks for me to get all of them but I did it, all I needed now was to focus on finishing the semester. December came and I learned they added a few weeks more the semester, SWEET!! So 3 weeks passed and it was finally winter break. I planned on doing school work the whole 2 weeks we had of vacation but at the end I couldn’t pull it off. I figured it was called VACATION, for a reason, to relax and take a break from school. So I spent the 2 weeks of vacation going out and having fun, with whom you may ask? Well my wonderful boyfriend and it was one of the best! Wish it would’ve lasted longer. And since I am such a wonderful student, I decided to finish some homework. I finished all of my accounting class work which is what really worried me and I got caught up on all my senior project work which I am very proud of, I think my website looks pretty damn great. That is pretty much all that happened so far, tomorrow we go back to school………….booooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but hope that all goes well.
